Objectives

Amber Tiles enjoys a leading position in the tiling industry for the past 4 decades. As part of their brand revival project this year, they appointed The Website Marketing Group to design and rebuild a new website for them that will more accurately reflect their current branding and the new innovations and solutions they offer.

Amber Tiles wanted a website that serves as the go-to resource for their customers. Making this possible requires regularly keeping their content fresh, up-to-date and relevant for their audience.

They thus needed a practical and efficient way to manage their online assets. They also wanted that the content management can be easily performed by their in-house staff, instead of relying on the services of an entire website development team.

Solutions

The Website Marketing Group developed a time-saving, cost-effective solution that will allow the Amber Tiles staff to upload, edit, update, archive or make any changes to their website content. This solution is called the Digital Assets Management (DAM) system, a Web-based application that offers a quick and easy way to make site content changes without disrupting the overarching theme and functionalities of the site.

  • Manage Products: Input, upload, edit and update general information, product attributes, product images, product files and product swatches.
  • New Product Feed: View product listings and last update date and time at a glance.
  • Manage Product Categories: View, edit or delete product category and sub-category information.
  • Manage Documents: Upload, view, edit or delete files including text documents, images, forms, and more.
  • Manage Marketing Activities: Use interactive calendar to schedule and plot campaigns and events.
  • Manage Training and Safety Documents: Save, access and update Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

Results

The DAM system is integrated with the website; therefore every approved update reflected instantly on the live page. It features a simple, streamlined dashboard that’s easy and intuitive to use, resulting in minimising training time and reducing mistakes and project delays.

By simply understanding the basic concepts and with a little practice, the platform was mastered by Amber Tiles’ in-house staff, even those who do not have knowledge in coding or website development.

The platform likewise enhanced the efficiency without sacrificing quality of content management as it provides a central location for all digital assets and product information. Everything is stored, archived and can be easily accessed via the platform, providing Amber Tiles a more detailed and broader overview of their website information – all of which is essential for strategic marketing and branding.
