Established in 1986, CareFlight is an Australian aeromedical retrieval service and charity whose mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.by providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care. Their aircrew team uses helicopters, aeroplanes and medi-jets to bring hospital-level care to over 5,000 critically ill and injured patients each year, caring for severely injured patients at the scene of the incident and transporting seriously ill patients to and between hospitals.
In addition to providing critical care, CareFlight also has a strong focus on education. They hold teaching accreditation with the critical care colleges of anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine. Over the years CareFlight has trained hundreds of critical care specialists in the unique and challenging environment of pre-hospital and transport medicine.
Flying critical care doctors to the seriously ill and injured; introducing night vision goggle technology and conducting clinical trials to investigate the benefits of early physician intervention for patients with head injuries, were all Australian firsts from CareFlight.

CareFlight needed a website that will allow them to fulfil some key objectives in communications and fundraising. Everything CareFlight has achieved over the years has been with the support of the community. Therefore, the website needed to offer the most relevant channels of financial support and keep supporters engaged with the organisation.
The Website Marketing Group provided CareFlight with an industry leading website that functions as the centre of their communications and fundraising. Features include a support page which allows visitors to make an online donation, set up a monthly donation, and engage in workplace giving.
The website features an e-store that features fundraising gifts, such as the CareFlight Bears. The store provides an important additional revenue channel in addition to the corporate and community support pages. The Create Your Own Fundraising page was also set up to further boost revenue generating efforts. Other features include a careers section and research and training resources.
The website likewise features a media section where visitors can access their newsfeed, newsletter, media releases and annual reports. Social media channels Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn have been intelligently integrated with the site to enhance the user experience and help them to communicate with Careflight on a whole new level.
TWMG's complex yet intuitive Content Management System (CMS) allows administrators at CareFlight to easily manage all aspects of the site content including images, text and some coding. The website is fully optimised, easily found online and is in fact listed on the first page of Google.
