The Website Marketing Group redesigned the website by improving usability, enhancing the call to action relating to products and implemented a concept, which distinguished the brand’s website apart from its competitors.
A simple but professionally finished CSS based graphic design overlaid upon a database structure and content managed system to allow Dorf to better manage their products and content without downtime or negative impact. The Website Marketing Group extended the brand's colour and typeface throughout the website reassuring consistency was employed. The strategy behind the architecture was to infuse the products search into all of the sections of About Us, Products, My selection, Inspiration Gallery, Special Offers, Sustainability, Media, Concepts Centre and Store Locator to draw users to the Dorf products.
A database driven CMS to ensure optimum management and update efficiency of products and content. The Website Marketing Group developed a product search selector based on Name/ Product No., Category, Range and SubType. Each product is identified with a description, features, cost, technical details, full range, recommendations and downloads. In a similar way, a store locator was also developed for consumers to find their nearest Dorf stockist to see and purchase Dorf products.
The average time spent on site went up by 111% and the number of page views increased by 85%. Visitors now spend more time on the site, click through more pages and interacting with it more extensively.
Navigation has improved massively throughout the site, with at least 42% of visitors engaging with more than a couple of pages.
