It's the stand-out fixtures that stamp the style of a bathroom; the basin, the toilet suite, the shower, the taps or mixers, the bath or spa.

Objectives - Leading the way with Caroma

As more bathroom brands surfaced in the last ten years, Caroma assigned The Website Marketing Group to revitalize their website. The recent flood of bathroom brands has diversified the market, with consumers having more choices. Caroma's history is the key differentiator from the range of new-to-market bathroom brands-at the core, shifting their focus from one of the many bathroom brands to leading the way as the best bathroom brand. Caroma needed their world-class brand to be reflected in their website.

Solutions

The Website Marketing Group developed a modern, cutting-edge solution to re-invent the caroma.com.au website as it so urgently demanded.

This involved: A website redesign with a new concept. The new look and feel of caroma.com.au is a return to quality, a dramatic rethinking of how the brand is portrayed online. With the site being the hub for products and ongoing brand initiatives, it was critical that visitors felt they were engaging with a world-class brand in a very simple and structured manner. The heart of the site is a suite of products, products features & specifications, MyBathroom section, media concepts and store locators.

Technology and extra functionalities to drive this masterpiece. The Website Marketing Group created a product search selector based Product No./Name, Category, Range and Sub Type. Using the product search selector, visitors are immediately allowed to search for specific products. Each product is identified with a description, features, slideshow, technical details, related products, recommended products and downloads. In a similar way, a store locator was also developed for consumers to find their nearest Caroma stockist to see and purchase Caroma products. These functionalities are powered by a custom seo friendly content management system (CMS) tailored to meet Caroma's requirements.

Flash animation and video used in areas for experiential engagement, incorporating links to promotions hosted by the mycaroma.com.au, while the core structure of the site is built with best practice methods: HTML and Javascript for an enhanced user experience, faster page loads, removal of unnecessary page loads, and eliminated all prior bugs. 

Results

Caroma enjoys a dramatic increase in revenue and attention. Returning visitors and new visitors have positively commented on the website redesign. The Website Marketing Group continues to provide digital marketing solutions for Caroma, recently been appointed to implement an SEO strategy. The Website Marketing Group have also launched several Caroma brand websites and will continue to partner with Caroma for further online marketing.
