Google Adwords - Pay Per Click Advertising Sydney

Drive Traffic To Your Website Fast in a Few Simple Clicks!

One of the fastest techniques for drawing traffic to your website is a pay-per-click advertising campaign. Pay-per click advertising is a great way to compliment your existing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy. Pay-Per-Click is a performance-based online marketing model in which businesses bid for enhanced placement in search results on terms that are relevant to their business, and pay on a per-click basis. You set the price you’re willing to pay for each sales lead and pay only when customers click through to your site, leading to a high return on your investment (ROI). Research shows that advertisers receive the highest ROI from pay-for-placement search when compared to e-mail, banners and other forms of online advertising. Another great benefit of Pay-Per- Click advertising is its advantage of being easily tracked. Google Adwords and Yahoo search marketing are the two major pay per click engines.

At The Website Marketing Group we specialise in setting up and managing pay per click (PPC) advertising campaigns that generate a profit for our clients. Over the past 5 years our team has managed more than $10 million in advertising spend on Google alone, with the singular focus of achieving a profit from every dollar spent. Whether you're a small business with a budget of $3,000 per month or a large company with a budget in excess of $30,000 per day, The Website Marketing Group have the experience required to make pay per click advertising profitable for you.

For people serious about increasing website traffic fast, online advertising is a natural choice. It specifically targets internet users searching for products & services related to your business. One of the most commonly used Advertising campaigns is Google AdWords. It is Google's Advertising product used by my millions of businesses to boost website traffic and sales.

Promote your business with Google Adwords

You can display your advertisements on Google, regardless of your budget. You can pay only if people click your ads.

How Google Adwords Works

  • You create advertisements and select keywords, which are words or phrases related to your business

  • When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. Now you're advertising to an audience that's already interested in you.

  • People can click your ad to make a purchase or learn more about you.

Google Adwords Costs

Worried about costs? Don't worry – AdWords puts you in complete control of your spending.

There's no minimum spending requirement – the amount you pay for AdWords is up to you. You can, for instance, set a daily budget of five dollars and a maximum cost of ten cents for each click on your ad. Google AdWords provide keyword traffic and cost estimates so you can make informed decisions about choosing keywords and maximizing your budget. You're charged only if someone clicks your ad, not when your ad is displayed.

However, configuring your Google AdWords Campaign correctly can be a tedious and frustrating dilemma for the average business owner. That's where The Website Marketing Group come into play. Being an experienced Google Search Engine Marketing agency with over 12 years of experience, we deliver results and generate revenue by correctly creating and managing Google Adwords campaigns. Our Google Adwords Campaign Process

1. Keyword identification and optimization

We help you pick the best words for your target audience, budget and sales goals. (Cost Per Click – CPC – varies based on keyword popularity and the number of clicks per impression. More clicks for less impressions makes for a lower CPC. An impression is recorded every time your AdWords ad shows up in a search result.)

2. AdWords ad copywriting

We write your ads based on what’s working in your particular market right now.

3. Customized landing page design

AdWords ads that link to customized landing pages perform far better than standard Web pages. Prospects find exactly what they are looking for when they click on your ad.

4. Click and conversion reporting

We track all your results with Google Analytics. You see every key statistic – including the number of times your ad is shown, click-through rate (CTR), and conversions per click (e.g. downloads, inquiries, subscriptions, sales).

5. Post-campaign analysis and revisions.

Split testing and copy/design variation results show us which combinations of keywords, ads and landing pages are generating the most business. We modify each AdWords campaign to get you the best results.

Google Adwords - Pay Per Click Advertising FAQs

What is Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising?

Pay per click (PPC) is a form of search engine advertising where advertisers pay only when their ad is clicked. Advertisers bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market, with the cost per click based on an auction model. For example, the top position for the keyword 'books' may be 90 cents, whereas the top position for the keyword 'sydney accommodation' might be $2.50.

What's the difference between Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) refers to the process of altering your website to rank high in the organic (unpaid) search results, whereas Pay Per Click (PPC) is advertising that you pay for.

How much do clicks cost?

Each keyword/keyword phrase has it's own individual cost per click (CPC). Costs are determined largely (but not exclusively) based on an auction system with individual advertisers bidding against one another.

What are the advantages of PPC over SEO?

SEO is a continuous process, which can take many months to generate results. On the other hand, PPC campaigns can be live within 24 hours and allow you to generate immediate traffic to your website. PPC is complementary to SEO as it allows you to test which keywords have the best conversion rate, before committing to an SEO campaign. We recommend that all clients focus on both SEO and PPC.

Should I start with PPC or SEO?

We highly recommend starting with PPC as it allows you to gain valuable insight into which keywords are generating traffic (but more importantly, which ones are converting into sales). Armed with this information, you can make better decisions on how to direct your SEO campaign.

Can you get me onto the first page of Google?

Yes, provided you have an adequate budget for clicks - we can get you onto the first page within 48 hours of campaign confirmation.

Do I get charged each time my ad is viewed?

No, you only get charged when someone clicks on your ad.

Can I set a daily budget?

Yes, we'll setup a daily budget for your campaign. When your campaign reaches it's daily budget of clicks (e.g. $20), Google will stop displaying your ads.

Can't a competitor just keep clicking my ads?

Google has advanced click fraud technologies in place to identify fraudulent clicks. As an example, when someone clicks on your ad, their IP address is recorded. Multiple clicks within a short period of time from the same IP will be identified as fraudulent clicks (and refunded to your account).

Can't I do PPC myself?

You can, however most clients who attempt PPC themselves don't receive the anywhere near the ROI they should. In short, they either don't get enough clicks or they pay too much for the clicks they do get.

Isn't PPC expensive?

If it's done by someone who doesn't know that they are doing... PPC can be very expensive. However, when done professionally - most clients see a better much better ROI on PPC when compared against other forms of advertising (e.g. magazines, newspapers, radio, TV, etc).

Which keywords should I target with my PPC campaign?

Your campaign manager will work with you to determine which keywords have the best chance of success.

What's the difference between generic keywords and long tail keywords?

Generic keywords are usually highly searched single words, whereas long tail keywords combine multiple words and are more targeted. For example 'Painter' is an example of a generic keyword, whereas 'Commercial Painter Sydney' is an example of a long tail keyword. In general, long tail keywords have a higher conversion rate as they are more targeted and searchers are at the end of the buying cycle.

How much involvement is needed from me?

Aside from an initial questionnaire we get you to fill out, we take care of everything else.

What else would you suggest I do to increase sales and traffic to my site?

While an effective PPC campaign can significantly increase traffic to your site, it doesn't guarantee sales conversions. There are many external variables outside the scope of PPC that will effect your end conversion rate. These include the design of your site, depth of product descriptions, quality of product images, price competitiveness, branding and overall business credibility.

In short, visitors to your online store need to feel that your business is legitimate and trust-worthy.

Additionally, PPC on its own does not make up a complete marketing strategy. All PPC campaigns should be complemented by additional marketing efforts, such as SEO campaigns, e-mail newsletters, PR and effective use of social media.
